It starts with a patch
OMIPOKA believes the protection that matters most should live on the most everyday objects. We sew NFC chips into embroidered patches and patchwork accessories — a small charm on a school bag, a keyring, a pet's collar becomes one more layer of protection between family members.
More than a bare chip
A tiny NFC chip can do so much — a business card, a pet tag, an emergency contact, a video that starts playing. Yet most NFC stickers arrive as exactly that: a bare chip. Nobody shows you what it could become, there is no account to bind it to, and once a link is written, there is no "what happens next". OMIPOKA set out to build the "next": designing chips into smart accessories that look good and last, connecting them to a cloud account you can update anytime, and growing one everyday application after another — from digital cards and embroidered patches to mini bag charms. One gentle tap should make life a little easier. That's why our tagline reads Tap to spark your smart universe.
The way a bee gathers nectar
The little bee in our logo is OMIPOKA's mascot. A bee lands on a flower for just a moment and flies off with nectar — the way a passing phone taps a card and comes away with exactly the information that's needed. And just as a visiting bee pollinates the flower, every tap quietly sends something home: family receives the location and a notification, and protection blooms. Our earliest NFC patches were embroidered as little flowers — quietly waiting for a passing bee to stop by.
Why "mipoka"?
We gave these chip-stitched little companions a nickname: mipoka (米啵卡). It echoes our brand name OMIPOKA — and in Chinese, the middle syllable "po" (啵) is the sound of the moment a phone meets a card. One soft po, like a tiny kiss, and the protection starts to flow. Whenever you see "mipoka" around here, that's who we mean.
Designed for the moments you can't speak up
A grandparent with dementia loses their way; a child gets separated in a crowd; a dog slips its leash; a hiker loses consciousness. In those moments, the person often can't ask for help themselves. A guardian card lets any passer-by tap once with their phone to help on your terms: family gets an instant notification with the location, while the finder never sees a phone number or address. Quiet on ordinary days — and it finishes the sentence for you when it counts.
